ANSI-accredited Standard under joint authorship between the Center for Offsite Construction (CfOC) and the International Code Council (ICC)
Serving as principal author and committee chair for the ANSI-accredited development of CfOC–ICC-1220: Standard for Modular Interface Couplings and Interconnections. The standard defines the dimensional, mechanical, and data-exchange interfaces that enable interoperability between prefabricated building modules and field-installed infrastructure.
Developed through ICC’s ANSI-accredited consensus process, it represents the first national standard to codify modular connection systems—advancing safety, efficiency, and plug-and-play compatibility across manufacturers.
