Startup Aimed at Affordable Housing Solutions:
A startup aimed at commercializing research done at the Center for Offsite Construction. Primary focus on creating the nation’s first Configure-to-Order housing marketplace.

Side effects include dramatice reductions of cost, speed-to-market, and carbon footprint to affordable housing.

First in the nation to offer Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for such pod kitchens and bathrooms.

First Customers:
  • State of Vermont - Commissioned by the state, under the Homes for All Initiative, to design (10) pod-and-panel home designs for pre-approval in various municipalities. RFP-winning team includes Utile Design and Bensonwood Homes.
  • M&S Developemnt - for offsite construction consulting services supporting a ~64 unit multifamily development in downtown Bennington, VT.

Strategic Collaborations:
  • Co-development of Logic Coupler (tm) to reduce pod install times to <5 minutes.  Aimed to be the first-in-the-nation deployment of CfOC-CC-1220 Modular Interface Standard.
  • Co-development of an installer network to mitigate adoption risks for Real Estate Developers, their General Contractors (GCs), and lenders.
  • Co-development of software designed to enhance the customer experience by creating a data-rich environment for the management of the installer network, on-site logistics, and interactions with lenders. Aimed to be the first-in-the-nation deployment of CfOC’s Configurator File Type.

Funding Rounds:
  • 2023 Friends Round (~$185k)
    • Establisment of a Storefront Laboratory (143 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT) in which to build early prototypes.
    • Participation in the LaunchVT Accelerator 2023 Cohort.
  • 2026 Seed Round (~$900k)
    • Establisment of a Retail showroom (26 Harmony Place, Brattleboro, VT) in which to demo pod models for VT Homes for All customers.
    • First production slated for Q2.
